This hands-on intro class will teach you the basics of spinning with a drop spindle and on a wheel using a variety of prepared wool materials. Students will have the opportunity to try several different spinning wheels over the course of the class with discussion about wool types and preparations. TS04: Beginning Weaving on a Floor Loom -( or independent study)
Come for two days of hands-on weaving on a multi shaft table or floor loom; both jack and countermarch available. You will complete the full weaving process from winding a warp to weaving and finishing a pair of towels woven in plain weave and twill.
